This course will address the principles of pedagogy and coaching theory related to sport and physical activity programs in a range of applied contexts. Through lectures, course assignments, and community-based experiential learning opportunities, students will become familiar with the fundamentals of design and delivery of physical activity programs in sport, exercise, and allied health environments. Students will gain an appreciation of the diversity and complexity of the teaching and coaching process in sport and physical activity. Prerequisites: KP200.
